I'm Mark Latham, I run BlueGumAI. I live and work in the Blue Mountains.

I have spent over a decade helping businesses get real value from technology. I started out at Toyota and IBM, then moved into software, building and leading customer success teams across a run of high-growth tech companies in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. I've worked with clients of all sizes, from owner entrepreneurs scaling their business through to Woolworths at the enterprise level. My experience has taken me across traveltech, ecommerce, fintech and more recently healthtech.

For three years I was a Merchant Success Manager at Shopify, guiding merchants through adoption and the operational change new technology forces. That is the core of what I do: sit with a business, work out what the technology should actually deliver, then make it deliver.

After Shopify I co-founded a consultancy, Customer Success as a Service, working with healthtech companies on CRM integrations including Hubspot and Salesforce, building retention strategies and helping clients adopt software in order to drive the growth of their business and keep their customers happy.

In 2021 I was diagnosed with a rare bone tumour. That is what led me into AI and building in healthtech. I built RareWays, an AI tool that helps patients understand the latest research on their rare disease, and I sit on the UNSW Precision Care Initiative as a consumer advisor.

I love building and helping others through the use of AI, whether it's scaling a small business into multi five-figure months or providing AI training and enablement for larger businesses. I am an enthusiast for the widespread benefits of leveraging AI in our day to day work.

I also have my own experience running a nature based small business. In 2023, I became a certified Nature Forest Therapy guide with INFTA, where I ran outdoor wellness sessions for corporate groups and university students across Melbourne. Now I call the Blue Mountains home, and you might see me out on the trails, making my way slowly through the splendour of the outdoors.

These days I bring all of that to the businesses around me, whether that is winning you more work, taking the admin off your desk, or building something custom from scratch.
